The CX-500Du acoustic instrument microphone features the JTS signature subminiature condenser capsule that is quickly becoming known for providing clean, detailed and natural sound quality . The detailed response curve works extremely well with stringed instruments of all types like violin and guitars. This microphone is quickly becoming the instrument of choice by demanding professionals tasked with micing orchestras. The CX-500Du mounts to a piezo transducer that attaches to your instrument with a non-migatory/non-residual 3M adhesive, specially designed not to mar instrument finishes. The unit is bundled with a PS-510 phantom power supply blender that allows you to individually adjust the balance between mic and piezo. Features mute, phantom bypass and individual volume controls. The detailed proprietary capsule technology and tailored mounting fixtures allow this microphone to pick up every subtle nuance of any stringed instrument!.
