The Europe Series Doug Wimbish Signature Model was made from precise measurements taken from Doug's 1987 USA NS-2. This guitar has a unique thin neck, more commonly attributed to basses which are designed to play jazz music.

This "narrow" measurement of 1.5 inches is taken from the width of the nut. The standard NS-2 and Euro4LX nuts are 1.64-1.65 inches wide.This small difference equates to a noticeable difference in string placement on the neck.
